Just a thought - we are encouraged to use hpps sites
as they are safer. Plenical site is an hpps....

Lupo,

The danger is not that they might take your credit card number or your identity.  The danger is that they will take your money and give you rubbish or posion in return; neither of which will cure your condition.

Thank goodness I saw this site before ordering. Do you know if Creseton is also a scam product?

One Sick Mother

Yes Creseton is a scam.

Hi just came across your website and glad that you bother to warn people about these Scams. I came across another website that relates to the Gordon Research Centre and is advertising for a drug called Neteton for the cure of Sjogren's Syndrome. http://www.neteton.com/background.html
What I thought was odd was the spelling errors and there is no explanation, symptons or history of the disease. And it also says that it is in accordance with the FDA regulation. I wrote to the FDA and waiting their response but can imagine it will not be a good one. I will keep you posted. Take care

I am searching for a legitimate cure for granuloma annulare and have been seriously considering trying these online products: Nulical, Greneton, Lomnofax, Annurax--all "recommended" by an online "source." Having had no help from the Medical field, I am getting desperate to find some promising cure but am afraid to get sucked in by scams.

J. Jasenska

Still no comment/response to my query about cures for granuloma annulare.. Anyone out there with the same problem?? I feel there must be something available, but I don't want to spend money on possible scams.

One Sick Mother

J. Janska,

All of the products you mentioned are scams and I believe all have been outed here on OSM. If you scroll back to the top of this page and look in the left column, you will see a heading "Scams". Most are listed with the company name in the title. So -going by the naming conventions: Greneton is Gordon's, Lomnofax is healing Plants Ltd and Annurax would be Botanical Sources. I'm confident that Berlin Homeo products and Oslo Health solutions also have bogus "cures" for GA too, so you may want to check out those articles.

Many legitimate sites carry advertising for scams: including WedMD, the Mayo Clinic and the NY Times, I have written an open letter to WebMD on this site. And I have spoken to the NY Times who said they would "look into it". About three months ago.

The best place to seek solutions is through your doctor and people you trust. Not on the Internet. On the internet, you can't even trust the New York Times.

what about the sites that review the products for a condition. are they part of the scam? if they review several products for a condition are they part of the scam, being sold by the same outfit?

One Sick Mother

Gary,

*sigh* Yes. those sites are scams.

See this article by me:

...also this one

and this one.

Clever. Elaborate. Scams.

Hello I recently ordered the product for keratosis pilaris - probably over a week ago now. I've tried to contact them to track my order, but have not been able to have the e-mail actually go through. I just get an e-mail back saying that the message failed to deliver. I'm also curious about whether or not my credit card information is still safe, because I did use paypal to order from them. And about the scam deal, is the scam that the product itself doesn't work or that the product doesn't ever show up?

Rachel Erickson

Also I haven't read all of the posts, but has anyone had any success getting a refund at all?

One Sick Mother

Rachel,

Your credit card info should be OK. Paypal is generally pretty secure, that I know. Here is some more information on getting your money back

http://onesickmother.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/09/getting-your-money-back.html

Some people do receive product, but many do not. Having quickly looked at the list on ingredients in the product you ordered, I would suggest you NOT take it, as Cinnabar is another name for Red Mercury (yes, mercury).

Also that exact same list of ingredients is in formulae that same company sells to 'cure' eleven other illnesses, including Sjogren's syndrome, Granuloma Ammulare, Melasma, Grave's disease, Grover's disease, Myelitis and Flatulence.

Do you think it cures all of these? Any of them?

Me neither.

I knew that "Pofanical" was a fake as soon as I read the ad. Post Polio Syndrome not a disease and cannot be "cured". It is an after effect of Polio.
Thanks for helping set people straight on these frauds.

The have been taking anti-thyoid medication for Graves disease for over a year. My condition is not improving and my doctor keeps increasing my meds. Now she wants to "kill" my thyroid with radioactive iodine. I searched the internet for an alternative cure. I felt desperate to find trust worthy information. Are Vagrical,Vegarax Vegeton, and Gravnofax all scams? Is there anything out there? I haven't ordered anything yet.

One Sick Mother

Lois,
I am sorry but those are all scams. I dont know of any treatment that is effective. My specialty is outing scammers and liars. It is much harder to verify a good thing than to expose a bad one.

Mind you, I think if something good had been discovered, it would be big news.

Thank you for your help. Keep up all your good work! The public needs you.

Cathy

I love finding sites like this. Keep up the good work and thanks for having our backs! Peace!

Katherine Young

I was taken in by the scam but did not receive my medication and when tried to email them it bounced back! So went on website and found you! Thank you. My credit card company took off the charge and 3 days later I got a package fromPackistan that I had to sign for. I did sign and then cancelled my credit card. Will be interesting to see what happens if any thing.

FRANCISCO

DO YOU MEAN, THAT I WAS ALSO TAKEN. I ORDERED CEDICAL FOR HYDROCELE. IS THIS ALSO A SCAM?

One Sick Mother

Francisco,

Yes Cedical is on the list and is a scam. If you get your package (from Pakistan) dont take any of the pills. They contain mercury. Return them and ask for your money back.

I threaten to contact the Attourney General with each email. I never did here from the bogus company but I was refunded my $80 through CCNow. So thanks so much and maybe this will help someone else.
